This is a picture of me and the boys that I nanny. Cal is three and baby Martin is nine months. I've actually been working for Jamie and Josh (parents) for six months today! They've been great to me, they're gonna make me a world traveler. Just this year, I've hit up Italy, Turkey and Greece. Next year I have plans for China and who knows where else? I think Africa would be amazing!
I woke up this morning for a migraine in the first time in a few years. After a long nap, a lot of asprin, several prayers and a cold washcloth on my forehead - it finally left me. Jamie was nice enough to understand, so I didn't have to go play with the boys until later today. When I did, Cal and I went out and built our first snowman of the season. He's about the same height as Martin, sitting down. He's not very big, but he's a snowman.
This time last year, I went tubing down this giant hill with my ward. I love the snow. People never really get it when I tell them that it didn't snow that much where I came from, if at all. I remember when I lived in Oregon, we would always say "Just this many more degrees and it will be able to snow". Yeah, it never got very cold! I got up the other morning and it was twelve degrees outside. Yep, twelve. I'm pretty sure that it's too cold to snow. But it's okay because I love wearing coats, scarves and beanies.
